Yu Sora
Born in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, in 1987. Graduated from the Master’s Program in Sculpture at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2020.Based in Japan and Korea, the artist explores the theme of everyday life and mundanemoments that can suddenly be lost due to disasters or accidents.
Through three-dimensional and twodimensional works, which involve embroidering black threads on white soft cloth to record everyday landscapes, the artist creates spaces that prompt a reconsideration of what constitutes everyday life.
